Alfred Charles Bradley

Alfred Charles Bradley March 8, 1947 – December 26, 2025 Alfred Charles Bradley was born on March 8, 1947, to Martha Bradley. He peacefully transitioned from this life on December 26, 2025.Charles was a faithful member of First United Church of Christ and attended Cooke High School. Throughout his working years, he was employed by TVA, Plastics Industrials, & Jacky Jones Ford where he was known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and dedication. He labored faithfully for many years, never one to complain, always committed to providing and doing what needed to be done. He was a hardworking and loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Charles was patient, jubilant in spirit, and known for his steady presence. He was strict when needed, gentle at heart, and offered wisdom that often came lovingly shared on front porches, in laughter, and in moments of comfort that will forever live in the hearts of those who knew him. Charles was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Bradley; his beloved wife, Ellen Bradley; and his son, Jerome Bradley. He leaves to cherish his memory his children: Darryl (Revetta) Bradley of Athens, Tennessee, Timothy Bradley (Latoya) Sweetwater, Tn and Charles (Edith) Bradley of McMinn-Piney, Tennessee. He is also survived by his sister, Rebecca (Jerry), and his sister-in-law, Nancy Burton. Charles’ legacy lives on through his grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren: LaTeka Bradley, Damarion Sharp, Azaria Thomas, Gabriel Bradley, Jayden Bradley, Nakinda Bradley, Darian (Christina) Bradley, Tanessa McRae, Ephram McRae, Tyler Bradley, Alexus Bradley, Johnathan Brown, Amanda Blair, Houston Johnson, Aiden Johnson, Alaysia Johnson, as well as his nephews and nieces Zanteka and Maceo Burton. Stephanie Bradley, Edward Bradley, Krystal Fourquet, and Jerry Owens Jr. He is further survived by his devoted partner Denissa Hardy, a host of cherished cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who loved him and supported him throughout his life. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 4, 2025 at Kyker Funeral Homes, Sweetwater, from 1:00P.M. until 2:00P.M. with the funeral service to follow at 2:00P.M. in Kyker's Chapel with Rev.. Nick Jones and Rev. Vant Hardaway officiating. Interment to follow in the Sweetwater Memorial Park. The family of Charles Bradley extends our heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of love prayers, and sympathy shown during our time of bereavement.
