Debbie Crabtree Pardue

Debbie Crabtree Pardue, age 62, of Sweetwater, made her great and final journey on October 2, 2014. She passed peacefully in her home surrounded by her family. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, which she took great pride in. She retired from the Sweetwater Police Department after 16 years of faithful service and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police. She was reunited with her parents, Ted and Delores Crabtree, grandparents, Grover and Maggie Crabtree, Walt and Helen “Grandmommy” Henderson, and Luke Tallent, uncles, Jack Crabtree and Moe Crabtree, and aunt, Peggy Johnson, and niece, Missy Littleton Brown. She will be remembered through her family, husband of 44 years: Joe Pardue, daughters, Heather Pardue, and April Plaugher and son-in-law: Evan. She will forever be Grammy to grandchildren: Chance, Abigayle, Cody, Chris, and Ashley Plaugher, and great grandchildren: Brantley, Teagyn, and Lyric. Sister-in-law: Ann Littleton and brother-in-law: Mike Littleton. She was a loving aunt to Mikie and Whitney Littleton, Anne-Marie Stevenson and Matt Wingate and a great aunt to: Annaliese, Austin, Aaron, Jake, Amelia, Ryan, Zack, Ty, and Morgan. She was a loving sister to Terry Stevenson. Loving family members include Kathleen and Rick Dew, Bob and Penny Johnson, Randy, Mary, Lynville, and David Crabtree, Joe and Mary Chapel Crabtree, Joey, Lisa, Ted, and David Crabtree, Cyndi and Steve Kyker, Jim Crabtree, Mamma Kathleen Schultz, Billy and Alice Ann Anderson, Steve and Belinda Shell, Jeff and Teresa Anderson. Her family would like to send a special thank you to Home Healthcare of East Tennessee and Hospice for the wonderful care they gave her. Her family will be forever grateful for the love, support and comfort they provided. Special thank you goes to Gerald Atkins, Nikki Littleton, Natalie Coleman, Diane Armour, Billie Franks and Beckie McAmis. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at Kyker Funeral Homes, Sweetwater, from 4:00P.M. until 7:00P.M. with the funeral service to follow at 7:00P.M. in Kyker’s Chapel with Dr. Gerald Atkins, Rev. Teddy Waters, and Rev. Mike Hubbard officiating. Interment 11:00A.M. Monday in the West View Cemetery. Members of the Sweetwater Police Department will serve as honorary pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Sweetwater First United Methodist Church building fund, First United Methodist music department, American Diabetes Association, or the National Kidney Association. July 19, 1952 - October 2, 2014
