Earl Parker

Earl Bruce Parker age 72 of Harriman, Tn passed away January 13, 2012 at home. Earl was born January 22, 1939, in Tazewell, Tn. he was a former Mayor of The City of Harriman and businessman. He owned and operated The Printery 46 years. For many years, he and his wife also owned and operated The Printery Gift Shop and the Radio Shack store in Harriman. He taught Graphic Arts at the Midtown Vocational School. He was a member of South Harriman Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Reta and Daniel Parker, sisters, Neida Jaques, Grace Campbell, Juanita Minton, Loretta Reece, brothers-in-law, Stanley Jaques, Gene Campbell, Richard McCuddy, sisters-in-law, Evelyn Byrd, Mary Catherine Culbertson, niece, Sue Campbell. He loved boating, his tractor, his dogs, his cats, and his family - especially his beloved grandsons. Samuel Leslie officiating. Interment 2 PM Monday at Lawnville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Sunday at Kyker Funeral Home Harriman.
