Loving Memory Mrs. Geneva B. Smith Sunrise - May 18, 1927 Sunset - September 5, 2019 Geneva B. Smith, age 92, of Sweetwater, TN, departed this life on Thursday, September 5, 2019, at Sweetwater Nursing home. She was a lifelong member and mother of First United Church of Christ, Sweetwater, TN. She was dedicated wife of 60 + years, a mother of five boys, grandmother to all, and a solider for the Lord. She is preceded in death by her husband Mills Smith, daughter Beatrice Smith, two sons Donald Williams Smith Sr. and Jake Smith, one grandchild Donald Williams Smith Jr, her parents Mattie & Alexander Bradley and her grandparents Jenny Lane and Avery Hurst. She leaves to cherish her memory, her three sons Eugene Smith of Cleveland, Wilbert Smith and Clarence Smith of Sweetwater; two sisters Cora Louise (Ulyss) Moore and Grace Moore of Niota; one brother Louis Bradley of Athens; five granddaughter’s Brenda Smith of Chattanooga, Laurel Smith of Decatur, Grenada Michelle Smith of Sweetwater, Nancy Smith of Morristown, and Ryan Smith of Sweetwater; three grandson’s, Andrew Smith of Athens, Billy (Melissa) Smith of Sweetwater, and Bryan Smith of Atlanta, GA; four great granddaughters, Sierra Michelle Kelley, Mia Nycole Smith, Sanyra Cannon, and Alisha Smith of Cleveland; five great grandsons Micah Smith of Birmingham, AL, Elijah Smith of Decatur, Nathaniel Dexter Kelley of Madisonville, and Deandre Smith of Cleveland, Cameron Smith of Sweetwater; two great-great grandsons Camden Johnson of Athens, and Keiandre Skyler Brandon William Dexter Kelley of Sweetwater. Special thanks to her great niece Peggy Smith, thank you for your tireless effort to take care of your aunt. Special thanks to Jayonna Ervin and Sweetwater Nursing Home staff for the wonderful care you provided for the past two years. The family will meet at Sweetwater Memorial Park on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 for a 2:00 P.M. graveside service and interment Rev. Ivey Smith officiating.
