In Loving Memory of Marci Robbins Marci Kay Robbins, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, surrounded by her children. She was 63 years old. Born on August 30, 1961, in Miami, Florida to Larry and Kay Svacina, she lived a life marked by faith, adventure, and an unwavering love for her family. She proudly served in the United States Air Force for four years before dedicating herself to raising and shaping the lives of her seven children. She was married to the love of her life, John Robbins, for 40 years until his passing. Above all, she was a devout Christian who deeply loved God and people. She had a generous spirit and a heart that sought out those in need, always willing to lend a hand, offer encouragement, or simply brighten someone’s day. Her kindness was matched only by her sense of adventure, she embraced life with spontaneity, often packing up for last-minute trips to the beach or surprising her kids with impromptu days at Dollywood. She loved camping, hiking, and biking, and she had a knack for turning everyday moments into a lifelong memory. She had a feisty side too, delighting in harmless pranks and finding joy in laughter. Her curiosity never faded; she was a lifelong learner who could always be found with a stack of books by her chair, eager to share wisdom about history, medicine, or the world at large. She valued stories of courage and integrity, believing in doing what was right, even when it was hard. She is survived by her nine children: Robert Robbins (65), Michelle Wadell (55), David Robbins (40), Julie Robbins (39), Susan Bolaños (36), Lisa Robbins (34), Katie Newroth (31), Anna Robbins (28), and Debra Robbins (26); as well as her fourteen treasured grandchildren, who lovingly called her “Nama”: Chaz Robbins (37), Carson Wadell (23), Isabel Holland (15), Andrew Bolaños (14), Asher Holland (13), Benjamin Bolaños (12), Emberlin Holland (11), Joseph Bolaños (9), Odette Holland (8), Fletcher Newroth (6), Quinn Newroth (4), Peter Bolaños (4), Layden Newroth (7 months), and Hayden Robbins (1 month). To Marci, true wealth was not in material things, but in a life well-lived—full of faith, beauty, nature, and the people she cherished. A celebration of her life will be held at Fairview Baptist Church in Sweetwater, TN at 12:00 P.M. with Pastor David Robbins officiating. Receiving of friends will begin at 11:00 A.M. until service time, on Saturday, March 8, where friends and family will gather to honor the remarkable woman she was.
