Mary Jones Blevins

Mary (Jones) Blevins, age 95, left her earthly family on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 to be with her Heavenly Father. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sweetwater for over 65 years. She loved the Lord, her church and church family. Mary was preceded in death by Her husband Stanley, Parents: James H. and Abbie (Hughes) Jones, Brother: Glen, Tom, Clarence, Roy and Bill, Sisters: Edythe Moore McCollister and Nelle Blount. Mary is survived by: Her Son Jerry and wife Peggy of Maryville, Grandsons: Jay (Lisa) Blevins, Scott (Mary) Blevins, Todd (Linda) Snyder, Great-Grandchildren: Macy, Jessica, Daniel, Jacob Blevins, Alex and Kyle Snyder, all of Maryville, Brother and Sister-in-law: Kenneth and Jean Jones of Rossville, GA, Sister: Blanche Randolph of Loudon who was very dear to and made her laugh all the time, and visited her daily Sister-in-law: Clara Jones, who lived the last year in the room next door to Mary, and they always shared many good laughs together, Sister-in-laws: Marine Jones and Mary Francis Jones Clayton ,Special Friend: Carrie Roy, who was like a sister, dear family member and was always there, Special Nieces: Ann Stafford, Donna Jenkins, Linda McCrary, Carolyn O’Daniel and Delores Walton, all of whom came by regularly and loved on their Aunt Mary. Aunt Mary loved many of her numerous nieces and nephews. She loved everyone of them and was always proud of her family. A special thank you to the staff of River Oaks of Loudon for the Christ love and care, and Caris Healthcare, who came in at a time when attention and care were needed, and they did it with love and devotion. Most of all the compassion, love, attention and affection given by Dr. Bipinchandra Patel over the past year. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Sweetwater at 303 Wright Street, Sweetwater, TN 37874, and to the River Oaks Place of Loudon, 1125 Grove Street, Loudon, TN 37774:Atten. Staff Fund. The family will receive friends Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Kyker Funeral Homes, Sweetwater from 3P.M. until 5P.M. with a funeral service to follow in the Kyker’s Chapel at 5P.M. with Dr. Frank Crawford officiating. Interment and graveside service will be held 2P.M. Sunday, March 1, 2015 in the Sweetwater Memorial Park. Kyker Funeral Homes, Sweetwater is in charge of all the arrangements.
