Carol Evelyn “Cookie” Peters, age 77, of Sweetwater, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021. Preceded in death by her parents: Robert and Ella Mae Hicks, sister: Nona Owens. Survivors include her husband of 56 years: Bobby Wayne Peters, of Sweetwater, sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Connie Lee and James Webb of Hohenwald, TN, niece: Amanda Barnes, nephews: Josh and Greg Webb, special friends: Diane Armour, Tammy Saffles, Hazel Smallwood, Mary Ann Tarapan, and Diana Cranfield. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 25, 2021 at Kyker Funeral Homes, Sweetwater, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 P.M. with Rev. Clayton Dunsmore and Rev. Robert Jenkins officiating. Interment 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday in the Sweetwater Memorial Park.
