Charles "Raymond" Duckett

August 4, 1934 - November 19, 2021

Charles “Raymond” Duckett, age 87, of Sweetwater, passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021, at U.T. Medical Center, Knoxville. He was a member of Glenlock Baptist Church in Sweetwater for many years, and a veteran of the U.S. Army. A great provider, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He and his wife just celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary on November 5, 2021. Survivors include his wife of 67 years: Wanda Duckett, sons and daughter-in-law: Danny and Ann Duckett, Dale Duckett, all of Sweetwater, daughter and son-in-law: Penny and Dale Hall, of Glen Burnie, MD., grandchildren and spouses: Jessica and Bill Rollow, of Lenior City, Felicia and Andrew Garry great-granddaughter: Regan Jo Garry all of Crofton, MD., sister: Beatrice Pitcock , of Sweetwater. Many nieces, nephews, and family members. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 12:00 P.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Sweetwater Memory Chapel with the funeral service to follow at 1:00 P.M. in the Memory Chapel with Dr. Gerald Atkins officiating. Interment to follow in the Sweetwater Memorial Park with full military honors, provided by members of the Sweetwater Gold Star Post 5156, Monroe County D.A.V. Post 106, and the American Legions Post 93. Sweetwater Memory Chapel in charge of arrangements. www.kykerfuneralhomes.com
