Connie Lynn Thompson Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Connie Lynn Thompson, 57, of Sweetwater, TN passed away on June 26, 2022. Connie was born in White Pine, Michigan on February 10, 1965, to the late Clayton Rogers and Virginia Smith. Connie attended college and earned her Associates in nursing and became an LPN. She worked as a nurse for 33 years. Her current position was at the Waters of Sweetwater. Those who knew Connie knew that she loved being a nurse and loved her patients and coworkers. They would tell you that she always had something funny to say and always had a bubbly and energetic attitude. Connie is predeceased by her father and step mother Clayton (Pat) Rogers and her mother, Virginia Smith. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 20 years, Michael Thompson; one daughter, Mikaela; brothers; Russell Rogers and Anthony Sandiford; sister Debbie Sandiford ; nieces and nephews; and one very special friend, Jennifer Rogers. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to an organization of your choosing. A few held a special place with Connie; Shriners, The Food Pantry, and The Children’s Hospital. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 2, 2022, from 3-5 PM at the Sweetwater Memory Chapel. A funeral service will be on Sunday, July 3, 2022 at 11 AM at the Sweetwater Memory Chapel with a burial to follow.
