Enis Oscar Hunt

January 13, 1950 - June 10, 2022

Enis Oscar Hunt, age 72, left his earthly body and met his Jesus face to face, Friday, June 10, 2022. He was a member of New Macedonia Baptist Church and love his church family dearly. Enis never met a stranger. To know him was to love him. His passing definitely leaves a void in this world. He is preceded in death by his parents William Oscar Hunt and Annie Mae Mason Hunt. Siblings: William “Bill” Hunt and wife Betty, Mary Poe and husband Jim, Jimmie Hunt and wife Marie, Ruben Hunt and wife Joyce, and Aline Sledge. He is survived by brothers Robert Hunt and wife Pat, Virgil “Chip” Hunt and wife Alice and brother-in-law Glenn Sledge. Numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends, whom love him endlessly, including his partner-in-crime great-great-niece Destinee Poe and her parent’s Donna and Johnny Paul (JP) Duncan. The family will be receiving friends, Thursday, June 16, 2022, at Kyker Funeral Home, Sweetwater from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. There will be no funeral service to follow. Those wishing to attend the graveside service may join the family at Sweetwater Memorial Gardens at 11:00 a.m. on, Friday, June 17, 2022. Officiating graveside services will be Rev. Charles Hunt and Rev. Mitch Isbill.
