Gary "Duker" Lynn Johnkins

Gary Lynn Johnkins a.k.a Duker, age 55, transitioned this world on February 7, 2021. Duker was born on May 6, 1965 to parents John C. Johnkins and Juanita Ferguson Johnkins. His family and friends will remember him as a loyal, honorable and a humorous person. Duker is survived by his wife, Linda Cardin Johnkins, of Loudon, Tennessee. His children, Courtney Johnkins, Jonathan Johnkins, Julius Macon, Julian Macon, Alexis Smith, Porshca Smith, Taylen Johnkins, Brody Cardin, Mackenzee Cardin, and his sixteen grandchildren. His father, John C. Johnkins of Sweetwater, Tennessee. His brothers and sisters, Lori, Michelle, Sonya (Benny Fain), Christopher (Scotty), Pam (Joseph Smith), Sabrina, Brandy (David Parker), Nicholas (Candace) Johnkins. And a host of his friends, cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Juanita Ferguson Johnkins, of Sweetwater, Tennessee. Will hold a walk-thru visitation Saturday, February 13, 2021 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm with the family in attendance in Kyker Funeral Homes Chapel, Sweetwater. The Graveside service will follow in Sweetwater Memorial Park at 2:30 pm with Rev. Ivey Smith reading scripture and Tony Brock delivering the prayer. Kyker funeral homes, Sweetwater is in charge of the arrangements.
