Margaret Marie Lovingood Baker, age 65, of Sweetwater, entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 9, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She was a lifelong resident of Sweetwater and attended Sweetwater First Assembly. She loved her family and especially her grandchildren who she devoted her life to. She was preceded in death by: her parents, Frank “Buck” and Edith Carter; husband of 15 years, Johnny Lovingood; brother, Jerry Carter; and sister, Evelyn McDougal. Survivors include: her husband of 5 years, Jeff Baker; her daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and Nelson Livingston Jr., Angie and Rico Mayfield; Grandchildren and their spouses, Kayla and Edmond Upton, Nelson III and Haley Livingston, Maranda and Denny Catlett, Emily Sutton and Fiance Bishop Reed, Emory Cranfill; Great Grandchildren, John-Carter Clark, Sadie Clark, Sawyer Clark, Samuel Livingston, Elijah Livingston, Adrianna Catlett, Everett Catlett, Maura Catlett; Sisters and their spouses Virgie and Danny Ramsey, Christine “Teen” and Kenny Ramsey; Brother and his spouse, Kenneth and Katrina Carter; Brothers-in-law and their spouses, Richard Goins, Petey Goins and Heather; Sisters-in-law and their spouses, Melinda & Mark Belk, Patricia & Mikey Cline and a host of nieces and nephews. A very special thank you to Miranda Kate Williams, Amy Dawson, Brianna Meadows, and Randy Lawson with Amedisys Hospice for all the love and care they gave her. We also want to thank her granddaughter and personal caretaker, Kayla Upton, for everything you did to keep her comfortable and well taken care of. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at Kyker Funeral Homes in Sweetwater. The funeral service will follow at 2p.m. in the Kyker Funeral Homes Chapel with Dr. Andrew Templeton officiating.
