Roy Lee Harmon Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Roy Lee Harmon, 74, of Sweetwater, TN went to be with the Lord on Saturday July 30, 2022. Roy was born on March 6, 1948, to the late Gooley and Laura Harmon. In 1972 he married the love of his life Doneta Jo Jones; they were married for 45 yeas until her passing in 2018. Those who knew him knew that he had a strong love for his Christian faith. Roy worked as a wood worker for 15 years at Athens Furniture. When he wasn’t working, he loved to watch NASCAR. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Doneta; his parents, Gooley and Laura Harmon; 3 brothers, Easley Harmon, Ray Harmon, William Harmon; and 1 sister, Marie Strickland. Roy leaves to cherish his memory his 3 daughters, Shanan Lettieri (Norman), April Lynn (Joseph), and Laura Wilkerson (Jason); grandchildren, Dakota Lettieri, Joseph Lettieri Shelby Elmore, Brodi Lynn, Jaylen Wilkerson; great grandchildren: Ava Lettieri, Adalynn Lettieri; sisters, Gearldine Moses and Imogene Ledford; brother, Boyd Harmon (Ruth); several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family members and friends. The family will receive friends on Friday August 5, 2022, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. On Saturday August 6, 2022, at 1 p.m. a funeral service will be held in Kyker Funeral Homes, Sweetwater Chapel with by Pastor Kurt Presley officiating will be held, immediately following will be the internment at Forkners Chapel Cemetery.
