Tammy Sue Archer

Tammy Sue Archer, age 58, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 15, 2025. She passed surrounded by love, faith, and the peace that comes from knowing Jesus Christ. She was the heart of our family a woman of unwavering faith, quiet strength, and endless compassion. She loved deeply, served selflessly, and lived her life as a reflection of Christ’s love. She was a member of Gregory’s Chapel Baptist Church. To know her was to know kindness, grace, and unconditional love. Her prayers covered her family daily. Throughout her life, her faith in Jesus never wavered. Even in her hardest days, she trusted the Lord completely and found peace in His promises. We take comfort in knowing she is now healed, whole, and rejoicing in Heaven reunited with her husband, Johnny Archer and her baby daughter, Tosha Archer, who went before her. She is finally free from pain and resting in the presence of her Savior. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will live on through her family, especially her children, Selina Archer (Jeff Brewster) and Johnna (Dustin) Harris and grandchildren, Bubba (Erin), Peyton, Heriberto, Giovanni, AsiaMarie, Kamryn (Eli), Rylan, Braylan, Lucas, and Taylor who were the joy of her life. Her prayers, wisdom, and gentle spirit shaped who we are today, and her love will forever guide us. She is also survived by her brother, Leslie Pennington; sister, Brenda Brown; several nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles; special cousin, Regina Branham; and special friend, Tammy Taylor. Though our hearts are broken, we do not grieve without hope. She lived a life of faith and service, and we hold tightly to the promise of Scripture: “His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.” — Matthew 25:21 The family will receive friends on Monday, December 22, 2025, at Kyker’s Funeral Home in Sweetwater from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., with funeral services to follow at 2:00 p.m. in Kyker’s Chapel. Pastor Dustin Harris and Pastor Gary Taylor will officiate. Interment will follow in the Forkner’s Chapel Church Cemetery.
